Introduction to service engineering and management, from the role of services in the global economy to analytical models in service operations management. This field is developing rapidly; the material covers the fundamental principles of services as well as recent research. Topics include designing efficient service networks, forecasting, resource allocation, and globalization. Enrollment restricted to graduate students.
