EE251: Principles of Digital Communications
A core course on digital communications theory. Provides an introduction to digital communication, including source coding, characterization of communication signals and systems, modulation and demodulation for the additive Gaussian channel, digital signaling, and over bandwidth constrained linear filter channels and over fading multipath channels. Prerequisite(s): course 151 and 153 (or Computer Engineering 153) and Computer Engineering 107.5 credits
