ECE224: Device Electronics

This course reviews the fundamentals of semiconductors and then explores the structure design and operation of the most important and widely used semiconductor devices. Topics include the motion of charge carriers in solids, equilibrium statistics, the electronic structure of solids, doping, the pn junction, the junction transistor, the Schottky diode, the field-effect transistor, the light-emitting diode, and the photodiode.
