Solid-state devices advance rapidly by employing new materials, new architecture, and new functional principles. Class offers opportunities to learn the latest advancements in solid-state devices (e.g., electronic, optoelectronic, photonic devices, and smart sensors) viewed from various scientific, technological, and engineering aspects, such as energy conversion and computation.
