CMPM256: Games for Impact Studio II

Students work in teams to polish and assess their games. This is a continuation of the Games for Impact Studio series from Studio I. The course involves aspects of (I) game production, with an emphasis on tuning the design and polishing it; and (II) assessment, where students develop their methods for assessment, which include usability testing, as well as goal assessment based on metrics development, data collection, and analysis. The outcomes are: the game is polished and tested, as well as a report on the evaluation of the game. Prerequisite(s): CMPM 255. Enrollment is restricted to graduate students in computational media.Taught in conjunction with CMPM 182. Students cannot receive credit for this course and CMPM 182. Hybrid instruction mode: online + in-person
