CMPE11: Three-D prototyping

Introduces the basics of rapid prototyping for robotics design. Discusses fast prototyping methods, advantages and disadvantages. From limiting stresses to `Optimal Design'. Introduces CAD, CAD packages, 3D printing with different materials and 3D scanning. Prerequisite(s):previous or concurrent enrollment in CMPE 9
