BME23L: Foundations of Design and Experimentation in Molecular Biology, Part II
Project-based laboratory course providing in-depth, hands-on experience in fundamental molecular biology and biomolecular engineering techniques used to manipulate expression of a gene of interest in prokaryotic cells. Emphasis on engineering design principles in experimental practice in the context of current research in the field. Prerequisites: BME 22L. Enrollment is restricted to bioengineering, bioinformatics, and biomolecular engineering and bioinformatics majors and proposed majors.
